March 12 — Ione Elementary Carnival, 6:00–8:00 PM
Action: Come join the fun! Volunteers and attendees welcome.
March 19–22 — Oregon State FFA Convention
Action: Best wishes to our FFA students and chaperones traveling to the convention.
April 11 — Prom
Action: Save the date. Additional details about tickets and arrival times will be shared soon.
April 15 — Blue Mountain FFA District CDE Day at BMCC
Action: Good luck to all participating students.
April 18 — State FFA Floriculture at Chemeketa
Action: We are proud of our floriculture team — cheering you on!
Celebrations from the Week
Boys basketball: 2nd place in districts — congratulations to our team for a fantastic season!
Girls basketball: 4th place in districts — great job and well done on a strong season!
We are grateful for the dedication of our student-athletes, coaches, and families who supported practices and games this year.
Additional Information
Cardinal Day (tomorrow) — optional
When: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
What: Fun, supervised activities for students. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Attendance is optional — it is NOT required.
Transportation: One bus will run from Boardman Park, i bus from Lexington by the Sinclair station and one bus from Heppner Park for pick-up and drop-off. All other areas require parent transport. Here are the times:
Boardman bus pick up @ Boardman park
pick up @ 645 am
Drop off 1:00 pm
Lexington pick up ( The transfer site is behind the Sinclair gas station on East street.)
Pick up: 7:40 am
Drop off: 1215 pm
Heppner Park pick up
Pick up : 7:25 am
Drop off; 12:30

Classified Appreciation Week (next week) March 2-5
We will celebrate and say thank you to our classified staff — our educational assistants (EAs), secretaries, custodial team, cooks, and maintenance staff. Their daily work makes a big difference for our students and school community. Please join us in thanking them for all they do!
